CS RADIODJ ANNOUNCERS — SAMPLE FILES
====================================

These three files are a matched set built around one fictional demo
station, WRVR-FM 98.5 "The River" in Riverbend. They are meant to be
read together — the Show Bible sets the rules, and both pools obey them.
Copy them, gut them, and replace the content with your own station's.

1. SHOW BIBLE (ShowBible_CaseyMonroe_Middays.txt)
--------------------------------------------------
WHO the announcer is and HOW they talk. One per announcer.

This is the rulebook. It never changes during a shift. It covers
station identity, audience, persona, delivery, banned phrases, and
compliance limits.

Rule of thumb: if it would still be true six months from now, it
belongs in the Show Bible. If it expires, it belongs in a pool.

The most useful section is the NEVER list. Telling the announcer what
not to say shapes the output far more than telling it what to say.

2. CONTENT POOL (ContentPool_TheRiver.txt)
--------------------------------------------
WHAT the station needs said. Station-owned messaging.

Contests, events, app and stream promos, other dayparts, community
items, and the fine print. This is the stuff a program director would
put on a liner card.

Write each line as a complete thought the announcer can rephrase — not
as finished copy to be read verbatim. One item per line.

Keep anything with a hard deadline in a short-lived pool you refresh,
or leave the date out and let the announcer stay evergreen.

3. CONVERSATIONAL POOL (ConversationalPool_TheRiver.txt)
----------------------------------------------------------
WHAT the announcer talks about when there's no station business.

Small observations, light opinions, seasonal notes, everyday human
stuff. This is what separates a personality from a liner reader.

Guidelines that keep this pool working:
  - Evergreen only. No dates, no news, no headlines.
  - One idea per line. If it needs a second sentence, trim it.
  - No punchlines. Warmth reads better than comedy on air.
  - Nothing controversial. If it could start an argument, cut it.
  - Aim for 30+ items minimum so rotation stays unpredictable.

Items rotate through a shuffle bag, so every item is used once before
any item repeats. A bigger pool means a longer gap between repeats.
